We were kinda tired of soft drinks loaded with artificial ingredients, sugar and gas. Really. We wanted to create something refreshing and something offering much more. Much, much more.

We began exploring the brewing relics of our previous generations. We went back to our roots, straight to the natural methods of creating naturally fermented beverages.

VIGO is a natural antioxidant which regulates metabolism, supports the immune system, and has a detoxifying effect. VIGO is an excellent alternative to all artificial or highly sweetened carbonated beverages.

We do not intend to use marketing jargon and color the reality. Briefly: our goal was to create something different. Something that is not only refreshing (cola) and stimulating (yerba), but something that is refreshing and authentically healthy, not only on the label, but also inside the bottle.

VIGO is a drink made from the finest Japanese mushrooms (SCOBY), herbal tea and natural crystal spring water. During the production process, we monitor their quality continuously to preserve all the nutritional and taste qualities of the drink.

SCOBY is a tea mushroom that originates from Asia. It has been known for over 2,000 years and has been used in natural medicine for centuries for its antioxidant, cleansing and strengthening properties. Tea prepared in this way can be drunk in the morning as a morning stimulant, during the day as a boost of extra energy, and in the evening as a cleansing cocktail.

Protects the intestinal walls, counteracts constipation and neutralises blood acidity by regulating its pH level.

Has a detoxicating action that is it assists the organism naturally to remove toxins and accumulated impurities.
 
It supports metabolism and the heart function, reduces the cholesterol counteracting atherosclerosis. It strengthens teeth and equally the gums. It has an antifungal action – combats candida. It possesses antibacterial and disinfecting properties. How we make it?

Two types of kombucha for everyone

Lightbrews

Shorter fermentation for the most people.

1. Brewing tea.

We brew white and black tea together with fruit extracts in the proper proportions. Then, we wait for it to cool down.

2. Fermentation.

When brewed tea has cooled to the right temperature, we pour it into a jar and add SCOBY. We set it aside for 48h.

3. Magic.

The side effects of the fermentation process include: good acids, antioxidants, probiotics, vitamins and carbon dioxide. The whole composition creates a unique and slightly vinegary taste. We stop the fermentation by removing the SCOBY.

4. Bottling.

We pour VIGO into sterile bottles. This should be done as soon as possible to preserve as many valuable ingredients as possible and, of course, the best taste.

5. The truth.

Fermentation takes place in large vats (up to 10000 liters) in one of the most modern brew houses in the world.

Longbrews

Longer fermentation for the kombucha veterans.

1. Brewing tea.

We brew black tea with unrefined bio cane sugar. Then we wait for it to cool down.

2. Fermentation.

When the brewed tea has cooled to the right temperature, we pour it into a jar and add SCOBY. We set it aside for about 10 days.

3. Magic.

We divide the fermentation process into several phases, each containing a different strain of SCOBY. Each stage of fermentation is exposed to high temperatures to exclude pathogenic bacteria, but still preserve the presence of probiotics. The side effects of the fermentation process include: good acids, antioxidants, probiotics, vitamins and carbon dioxide. Longer fermentation results in a strongly vinegary flavor.

4. Superfoods.

SCOBY is removed. Now is the time to add superfoods, mainly fruits, vegetables, and spices.

5. Bottling.

We pour VIGO into sterile, pharmaceutical-grade bottles. This should be done as quickly as possible to preserve the most valuable ingredients and, of course, the best taste.

6. The truth.

We do perform the fermentation in pretty large silos (up to 10000 liters) in one of the most modern facilities in the world.
